Hi! I’m Gareth. I’ve finally followed through on my longstanding intent to build a personal site. I’ve wanted, for a really long time, to have somewhere that I can share my thoughts and own them: as opposed to on a social media site that then gets to stuff ads in between.
Data residency and control over my own image that I put out there, is part of why I wanted this. There is also the creative aspect mixed with the technicality of The World Wide Web™️. I find I am drawn to that space in between twisting the technical knobs and the joy of splashing paint on the canvas.
